A great time for cinnamon apple bread! |
A really silky dough! |
Lots to set up! |
Dough went into fridge overnight. |
Some of my handy gadgets--My coveted (but no longer made) Daisy electric peeler, mandolin (with grater) and box grater. I liked the box grater better than the mandolin. |
Weighing the dough before dividing for loaves |
Letting the dough relax before rolling it out more. |
Adding Vietnamese cinnamon and sugar mixture! |
They rose nicely |
YUM!!! |

Cool electric apple peeler!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Karen! Wish they made more blades for it, since it has been discontinued. I find the peeler on ebay, but no blades!
DeleteThe big round loaf was a nice idea. I can't remember, did you like how they tasted? (Is that an egg sitting in a bowl of water? What's it doing there?)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dos Gatos!
DeleteThey were good tasting.
HA, Ha about the egg. I put it in a bowl so it wouldn't roll away. I don't remember why it was out. Maybe for the next recipe.
Good to see all the gadgets that went into making your bread. I'm also keen on using the right tools for the job.
ReplyDeleteThank you flour.ish.en
DeleteI agree about the right tools for the job. Makes it so much easier!
Looks nice! Did you like it, though?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Karin.
DeleteYes, it was a tasty bread. I put it in a freezer to use later on, just enjoyed it.
Beautiful golden brown color on your loaves! And I love your cool gadgets, especially the electric peeler.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Hanaa! Thank you for this great assignment.
DeleteIt looks like you had fun making these and they look great.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sunita!
